- 2000ad Review
It started off as a joke about Toby Longworth, the man of a thousand voices. Everyone said that he could do so many impersonations; they wondered why we didn't just get him to do an entire play on his own. And then one day came a phone call from Big Finish, telling me that they'd decided to do just that. I was to write a one-hour Judge Dredd play in which Toby would play all thirty roles.
It began as a pastiche of Chinatown, but then I was inspired by a powerful image in the Korean movie JSA, and something I read in a book called Rattling the Cage, about the case for animal rights. The rest just happened…

_____
A corpse with no face lies on the line between Immigration and Mega-City One. A feud breaks out between wannabe drug dealers. A shape-shifting killer is on the loose in Alientown. And Dredd's partner is an irritating, green-skinned company flack with an inflated sense of his own importance.
But when it comes to solving the crime and enforcing the Law, Judge Dredd is on his own.
