Strontium Dog - Ruthless
a novel by Jonathan Clements
“crisp and well written… recommended”
- 2000ad Review
“a smart action novel with a cunning plot and a lot of nasty dialogue… specially recommended for those who have long winter nights in Finland to kill.”
- Alienisti
Ruthless was originally intended as the first of the Strontium Dog novels, but thanks to some contractual issues, it ended up being the third. It's a prequel to the audio adventure Down to Earth, and for those looking for its inspirations, it's one part The Searchers, one part Way of the Gun, one part Long Arm of Gil Hamilton, and one part true story. The bit of it that really happened will be the subject of another book one day. It's the bit you least expect.
